Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 13, 2026. These Terms & Conditions govern use of khawajaengineering.com and the inquiries, quotations, products, software and engineering services offered by Khawaja Engineering.

1. About the Website

The website is an industrial catalogue, information and inquiry platform. A product listing, inquiry submission or automated confirmation is not by itself acceptance of an order. A sale or service engagement is confirmed only when Khawaja Engineering issues or accepts written commercial terms and any required payment has been received.

2. Acceptable Use

  • Use the website only for lawful product research, procurement, engineering, maintenance, account and support purposes.
  • Do not submit false identity or requirement information, upload harmful content, scrape the catalogue at scale, interfere with security or attempt unauthorized access.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping account credentials secure.

3. Product Information and Compatibility

Descriptions, images, dimensions, model references and specifications are provided to help customers identify a requirement. Manufacturers may revise products, packaging, firmware and documentation. Colours and proportions can also differ from website images.

Before ordering, the customer must confirm the exact part number, revision, connector, pinout, voltage, current, frequency, dimensions, environment, quantity, application and required certifications. Where compatibility depends on existing equipment or site conditions, written confirmation and relevant technical information may be required.

4. Inquiry Pricing and Quotations

Most prices are supplied by inquiry because exchange rates, import costs, supplier rates and availability can change. A website price shown for a selected listing is informational unless confirmed in a current written quotation.

  • Quotations apply only to the stated items, quantity, currency, tax treatment, delivery scope, payment terms and validity period.
  • Taxes, freight, duties, installation, travel, programming or commissioning are included only when expressly stated.
  • We may correct a typographical, specification or pricing error before order acceptance.

5. Orders, Payment and Cancellation

An order may require a purchase order, specification approval, advance payment or other written confirmation. Stock is not reserved until the stated conditions are met. Cancellation or alteration after confirmation is subject to our written approval and may not be possible for imported, special-order, configured, cut-to-length, licensed or work-in-progress items. Reasonable costs already committed may be payable.

6. Delivery and Inspection

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Supplier, customs, transport, weather, force majeure and site-access conditions can affect timing. Customers should inspect deliveries promptly and report shortage, visible damage or an incorrect item with photographs and references. Full details appear in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

7. Returns and Warranty

Returns require prior written authorization and are governed by the Return Policy and the applicable quotation. Manufacturer or supplier warranty terms may apply. Warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect wiring or voltage, unauthorized repair, unsuitable environment, normal wear or damage after delivery.

8. Software, Digital Products and Integrations

  • Software is licensed, not sold, under the stated license type, users, devices, term, version, region and vendor conditions.
  • A lifetime license means the licensed version or scope described in the quotation; it does not automatically include every future upgrade, third-party fee, cloud service or regulatory change.
  • Compatibility with operating systems, analyzers, POS systems, controllers, APIs and third-party platforms must be confirmed before work begins.
  • Custom POS, PRA eIMS, FBR or other integrations depend on customer access, API availability, authority approval, test environments and third-party systems. We do not control government or vendor portals and cannot guarantee uninterrupted acceptance by them.
  • License keys, downloads, configured software and integration work are generally non-returnable once issued, activated, delivered or started, except where a written quotation states otherwise.

9. Engineering and Technical Services

Service scope, deliverables, exclusions, schedule and acceptance criteria are those stated in the quotation or work order. The customer must provide accurate technical information, safe site access, backups, permits, utilities and authorized personnel where required. Recommendations are based on information available at the time and do not replace manufacturer instructions, statutory inspection or site-specific safety engineering.

10. Safety

Industrial electrical, automation, pressure, thermal and rotating equipment can cause serious injury or loss if selected or installed incorrectly. Installation, wiring, commissioning, guarding and maintenance must be completed by suitably qualified personnel using applicable manuals, lockout procedures and site rules. Do not rely only on website content for a safety-critical decision.

11. Intellectual Property and Brand References

The Khawaja Engineering name, logo, original content and website presentation are protected. Product names, trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners and are used for identification. A listing does not imply manufacturer authorization or endorsement unless expressly stated.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

Links to manufacturers, authorities, Google, WhatsApp, Hirings Online or other external services are provided for convenience. Their availability, content, privacy and terms are controlled by those third parties.

13. Disclaimer and Liability

The website is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Khawaja Engineering is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost production, lost profit, corrupted data or downtime arising from unconfirmed specifications, improper installation, misuse, third-party failure or reliance on general website information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Read the full Website & Technical Disclaimer.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The parties should first try to resolve a concern in good faith through written communication. Any unresolved matter will be handled by the courts with competent jurisdiction in Pakistan, unless a signed contract states a different agreed process.

15. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms as services and website features change. For a commercial or terms question, contact info@khawajaengineering.com or use the Contact page.
